WattCycle & Ivy League: Shaping a Sustainable Future Through Innovation and Education
At WattCycle, we believe that innovation, sustainability, and education are the foundations of a resilient future. That’s why we proudly support the Ivy League Solar Backpack Project—an initiative that addresses power shortages in disaster-affected regions while empowering students to solve real-world problems through renewable energy.
Renewable Energy in Education & Disaster Relief
In emergencies caused by natural disasters, conflicts, or power outages, access to electricity can be life-saving. The Solar Backpack Project delivers portable solar power to regions facing unstable or disrupted energy supplies, providing essential support when it is needed most.

A Student-Led Innovation with Global Impact
Led by students from Ivy League’s Next Generation of Sustainable Living (NGSL) program, the project is fully student-driven—from design and engineering to deployment.
The solar backpacks have already been deployed in Ukraine, the United States, and Africa, supplying power to phones, laptops, and essential devices in energy-scarce regions.

WattCycle’s Role: Powering Hope with Reliable Energy
